Best strategy until April 18 or so: Pour over the trend reports in magazines and on the web. Dare to dream of a new you, in terms of wardrobe and life direction. Plan a makeover. Kick any bad diet or exercise habits to the curb.Trends in early April favor creative daydreaming. Aim to pinpoint what truly makes you happy.

Stop and smell the daffodils! Change is in the air, but it’s just germinating. Let nature take it’s course, and don’t try to push too hard too fast.

NEW MOON in Taurus April 24
It’s always best to start new things on a New Moon. This time the Lights canoodle in Taurus – but square off with a Dragon (an old name for the Moon’s nodes)! The tendency now is to make it all about you and yours – and to want to hog all the good stuff. A balance is called for between head and heart, comfort and growth. This is the time to plant the seeds for the future. Put others first and see what happens.

MERCURY RETROGRADE
May 6 to 30
For most of the month confusion reigns, due mostly to Mercury's retrograde motion. Expect best-laid plans to go awry until Mercury gets fully back in gear, some time in early June. Mercury retrograde (a 3-week period that recurs roughly 4 times a year) means it's best to focus on re-grouping: review, refine, revise, but don't make solid decisions or plans that will affect your future.
Best Strategy: Strap on a smile and your best sandals, and head off into the unknown! Be ready to adapt to changing circumstances at the drop of a sun hat. So don't sweat it until then; it really is all small stuff! Yet improvised solutions work oddly in your favor throughout most of May.

FULL MOON in Scorpio May 8
Uh, oh! Now extravagant Jupiter gets into the act! This will mark the culmination of issues about resources (like money!), either not having enough or damming the torpedos and maxing out the plastic. Saturn puts in a word for fiscal responsibility. If you look, you can find ingenious ways to increase your income or to get incredible bargains on those gotta-have-it items.
